Assistant Professor of Nuclear Engineering

Brief Bio

I am an Assistant  Professor in the Nuclear Engineering Graduate Program housed within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University (OSU). Before joining OSU in 2017, I was a Project Scientist at University of California, Berkeley. Before that, I was a Research Fellow at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in Brazil, and at RWTH Aachen University, in Germany. I also held positions at Fundação Getúlio Vargas and at McKinsey & Company. I received my Ph.D. degree in Applied & Interdisciplinary Mathematics from the University of Michigan, and my M.S. and B.S. degrees in Applied Mathematics from UFRGS.
